It's confirmed she already has 600k from pre-orders, and the past couple years a lot of big artists we've seen hit 900k+ sales. Taylor's last three or four albums all hit one million first week, Justin's hit 968k, so averaging that out with Adele she's already at 1.6. So she just needs to sell 800k in a week to beat N'Sync's record... and she has a week to do that, which is not impossible.

Honestly, though, I think the record is on lock.

The 3.6 million physical shipments number is unprecedented and already rivals the NSync shipment figure of 4.2 million, and that's before consideration of digital sales.
