Am I the only one who prefers Mariah's voice in the second half of her discography over the first?

Nah, 90s Mariah was the vocal goddess. It's the other way for me, nowadays I feel the belting and vocals can be unnecessary in certain songs

Every single song that we got from that 'abum' is trash, why should the other ones be any better? I am usually not very harsh when it comes to the validation of her music, I pretty much love every other album or can be at least appreciative of it but that album would have been filth in audio form.
