OMG that last episode was good! Really really loved the message of it all and the relation to current events ie. ISIS. This season has been leaps and bounds better than Season 7 and 8 put together. The plot of episodes has been kinda eh (The Woman Who Lived, for example), but the deeper meaning of them has been fantastic. Really liking this season so far.
Season 7 may have been a bit average compared to the rest, BUT it's nowhere near as bad as 8 or 9. Capaldi is the only reason I'm watching.
There were only like 3 bad episodes in Season 7. Majority of 8 and 9 is bad.

i was bored throughout, the mystery wasn't compelling enough to keep me interested and like i said before, the tired formula that a lot of these episodes seem to follow is getting annoying.
the last 30 seconds absolutely terrified me though and will give me nightmares.
next weeks episode doesn't seem as if it's related though, is it not a two parter?

Season 7 was terrible. Amy + Rory got an awful goodbye and Clara was such a boring companion. Her whole "mystery" was drawn-out and unsatisfying. The episodes were so uninteresting and uninspired. I'd like to forget Season 7-8 ever existed.

I'm still so pressed by the way Amy and Rory left. Their ending was such a ****ing asspull. They really should've left in The God Complex.
Agreed, it was TERRIBLE! Rory didn't even get a goodbye, he just ****ing left! Amy deserved a much better ending, I liked the "Raggedy man, goodbye!" line though. And her appearance when 11th regenerated was really well done, it was definitely a surprise. But still! They both deserved a proper farewell like Donna and Rose got.

No, she's not. The video caused the infection, not the machines.
While I thought that episode was thoroughly average, I don't get complaints that a lot of things didn't make sense. I actually thought it explained most things rather well.

Yes! Martha's ending was great for the way it easily led scope for her to return, there was no intricate plot required to get her to come back, unlike Rose and Donna who literally need a miracle. Clara's departure and sudden return didn't seem real in the slightest.
