I think I'm going to write a help message to Rihanna to get out of that bathtub on vacation and release her album. But I'm going to write it from her point of view to be edgy.

I was thinking terrorism but I already touched on that with Pain Remains and then I considered Climate Change but I have so much natural imagery in my songs it would be redundant, so now I'm going back and forth between depression and racism.

I guess I can write about homelessness/poverty since none of my previous songs have anything to do with it.
I feel like depression is the same trap as empowerment songs. Unless you're going to talk specifically about social attitudes towards mental health or the political discourse surrounding it, you're just going to write a song about suffering depression... which is basic and common.
