He sure is, on ITUNES where the BULK of his sales are coming in. The struggle of One Direction fans acting like he's only generating sales through these discounted deals.
So if his digital sales are strong at full price, why'd he have to go discount the physical?
They were pointing out how hypocritical you all are being which is very hypocritical going by all of the posts in here
Both acts clearly want the #1 and are doing what they can to get it. Let's not act like those four album covers weren't just another marketing move to help them get it
Without these discounted sales he would easily lose since they're neck to neck fighting for the #1 lmfao. You're acting as if he was selling 99% digital.
How would he easily lose if they're neck & neck, contradicting yourself there?
+ we don't even know how much the deals have effected his sales.
We do know however that he's still competition for them w. out the deal.
The hilarious thing is that 1D IS doing promo. They occupied ALL of the iTunes banners earlier this week, changed all of the songs in the "Hot Tracks" section to their album tracks, have four separate covers of the album being sold in retail stores across the nation, and have a hefty line of televised performances coming up next week.

Clearly concerned.
Because like One Directions are act of desperation for the #1, his team also wants the #1. This will give him the push to do so, sales was never an issue clearly.
No discounts = less sales and then it wouldn't be neck to neck.
Logic. Please.
You don't even know how much the deals benefited to his first week sales, so who are you to decide on whether or not he still wouldn't pull a lead in sales?

So discounts barely affect sales? First time I hear that.
Their sales gap is only 10k (25k with SPS), so even if only 1/40 of Bieber's sales were boosted with the discount it would still matter.
Sheena acting as if the deals only helped Justin sell 5k more
Without the deals, JB would be #2 in sales. But since he made the "buy a ticket, get the album for $4" deal, his sales are obviously going to increase.

oh sheena he's only selling his album for full price on itunes so obviously the discounts are helping him a lot
