well that'll probably be how it is in DC too but...it's kind of always like that lol
i mean, not THAT bad, but they are really paranoid here. the security attendants at places like the airports glare at you a lot. it's been like that ever since 9/11. i've been to all three of the airports in the DC area multiple times and every single time in the past 10 years without fail they've been under "elevated" terrorist conditions, so...i guess i'm really desensitized to it. i'm more worried about other cities being afraid
