I was a little confused...so basically, if you find your "purpose", you get out of the wheel and you're peaceful as a ghost? And it basically only happens when you die with unfinished business? If it connects to Season 1, it does make sense with Nora, Chad & Patrick, but The Harmons seemed to be peaceful the whole time they were ghosts tbh. Except Violet at first, but maybe the unfinished business she needed to take care of was the Tate drama.

When you find your purpose it just makes being a ghost less miserable. They aren't free "per se." In Kara's case, her purpose is scaring the hotel guests. She finds joy in it. (At least something in that vein.)

It seems that only people who are infected actually know about the virus existing. Suspension of belief I guess...

Is Hotel chronologically set after the finale of Coven? Although a bunch of witches in New Orleans hardly affects a haunted Hotel in LA does it...

I have to say that last episode I really felt like watching the countess, an actrice rather then Gaga playing a role. For me she didn't stick out anymore like she did before.
