!!! I can't get over this. It's great that they want to give their long-time fans a nice piece of nostalgia to celebrate 20 years of Pokemon, but WHY did they not include wifi capabilities? Being able to battle people all over the world in Gen 1 glory would be such a HIT. They passed up something amazing with that.

The lie is clear. A lot of people care about graphics not just gays. There are tons of gamers who make their decisions based on the quality of the graphics. People actually put in thought before buying a game or even a console based on graphics alone. If that wasn't the case Nintendo wouldn't have to worry about keeping up with their 1 gen late graphics.
Maybe because it already got remakes (and is also available GSC and its remakes)
That shouldn't matter when it's their most iconic game and also their first. Also hasn't Zelda's games had like 500 remakes of the same game. I'm sure Ocarina of Time has at least 2 remakes.
