I remember reading people predicting Sprawl II would win and I was like ugh I should probably give it a 0.... and then I heard it and there was no way.
A modern masterpiece, the only reason it didn't get a 10 from me is because I reserve those for the underrated.
The lead single/ title track/ album opener from The Suburbs does a good job of introducing the album: there's a little part of every song in the record on this track. The song was described as "neither a love letter to, nor an indictment of, the suburbs its a letter from the suburbs." OK.
Best bit: The chorus Best lyrics: "In the suburbs, I / I learned to drive / And you told me we'd never survive"
I think the reason I love Kingfisher the most from HOOM is because it sounds so medieval like Ys, my favorite album of her.I never expected it to make it this far.
Sprawl 2 is just outstanding.Nothing else to say about it.
