Beyonce is capable of making great music and that's what's most important. She should stop dumbing herself down (7/11, Runnin') to please certain crowds.

Beyonce didn't get successful by herself. Matthew was everywhere with her. He got her the deals. Let's be real. She has said that numerous times. From Charlie Angels to tours. She also said in an interview regarding B'Day that she didn't tell him because he would have been scheduling interviews.

He didn't get her the deals, those deals/companies came to her and there was MANY deals she turnt down. Her Dad would book them interviewers in the earlier days and even then the girls still had a say, plus they were hungry, so they did it but when Bey came of age nothing was booked until she gave the green-light. Her and Mathew use to battle all the time as Artist & Manager. He would tell you Beyonce never did anything she didn't want to do.

Bey is not in that promote promote promote promote promote space any more. She has worked her butt off since the age of 8 years old and has earned the right to do whatever she wants. BUT, I agree that B and her team should have handled the ST era better, there were a lot of missed opportunities with the single choices, promotion, timing, not putting songs on iTunes at the right time. etc. The album is iconic and has had HUGE impact on culture. So you really can't complain lol. Hopefully things are handled better next album.

Her album is probably going to incorporate trap just like Self Titled. And Boots was unknown and unacclaimed when she worked with him so give her a chance. I'll take a 7/11 over a IIWAB anyday anytime but that's just me lol.

I like 7/11, but comment like this let me know why beyonce don't sing any song aside pretty hurt, heaven and no angel on the last albums.
It just funny that the song you guys like are the ones that make her look dumb! Flawless, single ladies, run the world and trash IIWAB, I WAS HERE, PRETTY HURT, SOME EVEN HATE THE SOUND OF HALO

No but they are very misleading for her talent and discography. We are talking of the woman that right now might have the best vocal ability or total package in the mainstream music! Her vocals are awesome but those song can be done by any talentless artis. I feel like she can do more than anybody vocally.
I like her urban sound. Well actually I love 95% of her songs and my favs might be the uptempo songs those made me Stan. I want her to be compare with the great vocalist! Not with Ciara and Britney as a performer.
My point is start making legend music not Chris brown female version music...

You are foolish. First the nerve of implying that anyone other than Beyoncé dictates what she wants to sing. Second, if you had any musical bone you would know the first three songs that you listed are the worst on each of the albums they came out. Because guess what? A ballad doesn't equate to good music. Third, how can a song make someone dumb? The song you trash are some of her most acclaimed work and plebiscited by her peers and those you like will make her a panned artist. Finally, putting no Angel on the level of Pretty soap kills? Are you ****ing serious. People like should stan for Céline Dion or new Adèle. You do NOT get Beyonce's musical brillance.

Beyonce's music is legendary. She has created a sound and style is distinctive and all her own. "BEYONCE" has some of her most subdued vocals, and is not only her most acclaimed album, but the most acclaimed album of any female pop star of the millenium.
Yea she can make Whitney or Mariah type ballads, but thats not her, and that is why she has longevity because no one can make music like her. TBH, her music is more acclaimed than Whitney & Mariah, with critics calling a lot of their music (Mariah's earlier music in particular), generic.
"Flawless," "Drunk In Love," and "Partition" all top critics' list last year as well.

People ridicule her beccause of her lyrics. I know ballad don't equate good song. I damn sure know that however. I wish she was more not for songs like I care, listen than a flawless....I love flawless but it hard to explain what I think. I was here is not bad as people make it seems.
Don't worry I'm the same person that cringe every time people say love on top is on their top 5 songs from B
