It's hilarious how fans are dragging Ella when y'all are constantly begging her for infos.
Anyway, what I understand from what she said is that Rih did record some songs for #R8 in 2013/2014 (FFS, BBHMM, AO, James Joint, Higher, KIB, Promised etc.) but it's only in late 2014 that she came up with the actual concept/direction for the album.....a lot of artists do this. And that would explain why she started working with Roy Nachum in late 2014.
It makes sense. Towards the Sun was recorded in 2013, a lot of "HOME" songs were recorded in 2014 (Run to Me, ARAYAM, Feel the Light etc.) and she was recording some songs for #R8 at the same time (she was tweeting lyrics from both HOME & R8 songs in summer 2014).
2015 is when she fully worked on ANTI, since HOME soundtrack was done & released.
Also she did say in an interview back in March that she dropped those R8 snippets to see the fans reactions and to make sure that she was taking the right direction. And I do believe that she released FFS, BBHMM & AO to just tease her new music and to "feed" the fans".
Look at the way she released FFS, "First glimpse at my new music!!!!", BBHMM....."New song from #R8 out now!!!" and AO....."As you demanded----> AO out now!", then James Joint...."More new music on rihannanow!!!'. I think it's possible that those songs didn't even make the cut.
Seems like some of y'all forgot that RD was aware of the iTunes & Vevo release of AO 10 days beforehand (no one believed them), as well as the release of BBHMM & Towards the Sun, and they also knew about the ANTI gallery, they even helped planning the event when so many fans thought they were trolling......where do y'all think they get all these infos from?
Anyways, I'm sure the alleged documentary will explain a lot.
