That album was released in 2009. Album sales were much better back then. Up All Night & TMH are virtually tied worldwide with ~5.5 million a piece. Midnight Memories is next with 4.3 million. They have 3 albums over 4 million worldwide, which is difficult to get not everybody has that.

People were still pushing past 5 Million after 2009, guess they weren't big enough to do so.

Right?! They are shook. They didn't expect Bieber releasing singles that are smashing or even threaten their beloved 1D final album for taking their number 1 spot. They are so used at 1D releasing their average songs they didn't expect Bieber releasing songs that are going straight to number 1 and 2 and having longevity. Sorry has out peaked every 1Direction single and this is from a guy everyone thought was over. Take that!

People were still doing it in 2012/2013, too. Why couldn't Bieber even though he had multiple hit singles, videos, toured, etc.

Then why are they so low on itunes? The radio shoves them down our throats, and nobody wants to buy them, or stream them for that matter. Also explains why everything they release falls 20 spots out of the top 10 one week after their debut...never seen two songs more front loaded than DMD and Perfect.

Wait...where was all these Justin Bieber fans when he was flopping a few years ago? I'm not a One Direction stan but I do believe they're better people than Justin Bieber who just seems like your typical spoiled brat whose famous for no reason. He's only doing well through radio deals and using the same formula in which y'all dragged Ariana Grande for doing. Anyone can get a hit if they have the money to push it. If One Direction wanted to they could've had a number one with Drag Me Down by releasing a lyric video and the official video in the same week, big radio deal, and big national performance, not to mention releasing the video on an award show watched by millions.

What Do U Mean? debuted with 337k and is currently at 1.1 Million in sales. Radio isn't it's only factor to it's position and success. Check your facts before making a fool of yourself.
