Same. I feel like I'm FORCING myself to watch it. I haven't found one ep. thus far remotely entertaining. I don't want to be the "negative Nancy" of the thread but this season is pure **** in every aspect.

Idk why did anyone find Alex's actions illogical in the last episode. She's clearly delusional af when it comes to Holden. Her love for Holden is unhealthy, lol. Maybe that's why she decided not to tell anything to John or police when she found Holden. At least that is how I understood it after watching 5x04 the second time.

There's no way John is not the 10CK. Mr. March said that John doesn't know something yet. Maybe writers are not aiming for a typical whodunnit story but they are just slowly introducing John as the 10CK in the first half of Hotel and then to present him as a ****ed up big bad of the season in the second half?

And they need to finally explain everything about Sally, The Countess, Mr. March and etc. They introduced enough characters and plotlines, it's time to develop them until the finale.

That's what I'm hoping for, if Hotel won't turn into **** like Coven and FS of course

you think it's logical that alex finds her son after 5 years and rather drives home with him instead of inform her husband who is 20 feet away? and then at home measures his temperature, which is so low he should be dead, but acts the whole time as if nothing is wrong, especially as a doctor?

Idk, she did come off to me as delusional when she described her love for Holden in the third episode. And Chloe said in the interview that her character makes a lot of decisions that viewers would find weird and that later a reason of her actions will be explained.

The same writers wrote brilliant episodes for MH and Asylum, they can't just become dumb and lazy, right?
Idk maybe I consider them being smarter than they really are.

I really hope that Devil's Night is the only pointless and empty episode with little to no plot progression

She didn't show Holden John, because if she had done that, John and her wouldn't have stayed there any longer or at least John wouldn't have gone to the diner, so that wouldn't have happened. And the diner >>> logical story

The Countess must have some bigger plan, Ryan couldn't have dumped that 'nefarious plan' after Gaga agreed to do the whole season
She marries Will for money and then she kills him but what happens after that? She's gonna stay in the Hotel wasting money for fancy clothes and other entertainment?
They finally need to make the Countess interact with ghosts.

So far we've had 3 episodes with big potential and the storyline progression out of 4. I'm not losing interest for Hotel because it's the first season in which they are setting up and introducing everything without giving away too much in more than 1-2 episodes. They can't leave all of that unexplained and just keep adding new random characters and they storylines, right?

If nothing big happens in next 3-4 episodes (until the season's second half) there's no hope for the season at all

The only things I didn't like were that they didn't have Iris or Donovan or even Ramona at all in this episode. Why would they introduce them/give us an Iris cliffhanger if they didn't plan on addressing it? I also need some explanations for some things. I think the next 2-3 episodes will be crucial to see if the season is good or not.
