Maybe, but if she doesn't release "rock" music, it's quite useless. Bad Girl was the closest thing we got since ages ago, and it's even watered-down compared to UMS and even some songs from LG or TBDT (sonically). Yeah, LA let her do her thing very well, confirming the album was done and then "suggesting" her to go back to studio to "create more magic"; great job, LA...

It's not what I would want, but right now I would see more likely for her to go poppier or "full pop" (to be relevant again) than doing anything resemblant of rock. She might still release songs like HYRM cover or GYWYL, and perhaps an "edgy" song here and there a la Bad Girl, but I don't think she has what it takes to make, release and perform "rock" music anymore. She had her moment with UMS, but she started to ruin it with TBDT, and then she completely abandoned it with GL (which I love, and made me "forget" about the "rocker Avril").
I would love she proved me wrong, though
