ppl are so closed minded! they think the US is the ONLY market. yes it is a very important market but you can still be one of the most successful artists of all time with or without it. and shakira always manages to have atleast medium sized hits in the US. on top of that most her competition back then is struggling to sell 1m albums :J-Lo, Xtina, Brit (unfortunately) etc...yet they call some of those legends and liketo undermine Shakira's MASSIVE achievements and non stop slayage!
on top of that if Shakira serves another massive Spanish album like Sale El Sol she will surpass Katy on VEVO and sell another 2m+ albums!
Most people said no because they expected Katy to be starting a new era this year. No one knew she would extend the tour this much
