Do It Again is Pia Mia's biggest song to date, it was a hit in the UK and went top 10 there, Australia and NZ. NONE of which Pia was doing on her own.

Nicki just featured him on All Eyes On You, more recently than majority of the **** you're talking about and it didn't flop. BOM flopped but like...it's Rita Ora.

My point is that being in playboy doesn't mean that much for a musician or any famous person for that matter. It either has no effect or a negative effect. I think the fact that she is in the same magazine that featured azealias banks on the cover recently says something. Lemme ask, has Rihanna, Beyoncé or Adele been in playboy??? Didn't think so.

Overall Tinashe has kind of been disappointing me this era. I'm not sure if it is her to blame or her team? I'm perched to see if she can salvage anything.

mariahs done playboy, i dont see what the big deal is, she looks great in the shoot

I am mad they pushed pop adds back though. This is roaring up rhythmic charts as expected so it's going to end up peaking prematurely on rhythmic when pop AirPlay is still building. Exactly the mistake that kept 2 On from Top 20. Go figure.

I think that her snapchat rants have been disappointing. Whether she was joking or not I think it shows that she's scared and uncertain about this era too. If she wasn't flopping she wouldn't be begging and ranting to her stans to buy the music.

And the Playboy photoshoot has nothing to do with the era. It's a management rule that any visibility is good visibility. Plaboy got good buzz for their first non-nude issue and Tinashe was in it so she wins. As for the Beyonce / Rihanna / Adele comparison, Rihanna has done a naked photoshoot for an even less known magazine and Beyonce did her fair share of revealing shoots before she established herself. Remember Sports Illustrated? Adele and Tinashe can't be compared

Tinashe is my only fave that's currently releasing music so I want to be excited, but everytime I come in here I see the same old tired comments and they don't even make sense.
