Good riddance to the RH songs
Your Honesty is like the best RnB song Madonna has ever done it actually hits yet I still feel something is missing

She's Not Me is such a disappointment. The bass line and disco strings in the very beginning are so colorful and full of life and everything else is monochromatic in terms of production, melody, production. Sigh

Host commentary - One of the only Hard Candy songs I really do like. It still is missing something to make it a signature Madonna song, but it is cute. Would be higher if Pharrell didn’t show up towards the end and ruin it.
Guest commentary
Subomie- The song is decent, a bit too long, but the tour performance is everything!

People think this song is better than Did You Do It? and Dance 2night? Tasteless.

I'm fine with the two COADF tracks leaving
I like Words but it's one of the weaker Erotica tracks. A lesser Waiting indeed

Host commentary - Ughhhh. Of all the Erotica songs to punch before top 40, did it have to be this one? I’m literally disgusted. Y’all did this song and JakeKills wrong. Read HonVom, LLM, and Vilppu’s commentary for my thoughts on the song.
Guest commentary
HonourableVomit -Whoever gave this less than a 9 has no heart. "No I'm not HIV-positive, but what if I were? I would be more afraid of how society would treat me for having the disease than the actual disease itself. If this is what I have to deal with for my involvement in fighting this epidemic, then so be it." "I'm not afraid to be associated with people who are HIV-positive, and I am not afraid to love people who are HIV-positive. Because their ordeal is more important than mine, because their courage is larger than mine, because what they're facing is real. And if we can learn to deal with real, and our fears, then I'm hopeful that we can conquer this disease."
Vilppu - After a bunch of sex-themed songs Madge tones down with this little wonderful ballad. At first it might seem boring but it's really one of her most emotional and heart-breaking tracks with beautiful lyrics about her friend who died because of AIDS.
Reinvention - Instrumental reminds me of something I would hear in Final Fantasy VIII – a good thing! Will definitely be revisiting this song.
Eeveelution- I appreciate the lyrics but GOD this is such a drag. Leave the stodgy, lifeless instrumentals to BS please!
Subomie - Love the message and emotion, especially from the premier gay icon of the time. It's just a bit... dull though?
Alongoria13 - Maybe I'm an emotionless piece of **** but this song has never done anything to me.
Pandora – One of the more memorable tracks from the album. I really love this one for lots of different reasons.
LoveLiveMusic - Without a doubt one of my favorite songs by Madonna as a whole. I give this a ten because lyrically its one that still speaks to the gay community 2 decades later. The song is brought to life in The Girlie Show World Tour so well in the Studio 54 segment of the show. Madonna herself speaks about losing friends to AIDS and to see her singing all alone shows how her friends must have felt when there was such a stigma around it. Her outreached hand to the audience of ‘Who’s next? Who determines who’s next?’ is brings people from a global scale to a communal scale.

Host commentary - A lyrical highlight of Music and one of my favorite songs. The production choices are a bit questionable imo, but still a beautiful song.

Lifeline- When I posted the lyrics to a non-M stan, they instantly said "how beautiful of a lyric" and that means quite something. More praise please. It deserves it.
Reinvention - I really like this track for some reason.
Quicksand – The instrumental after she sings “And I thank you” never fails to amaze me
Subomie - A blueprint for American Life? But this is softer and actually good. Actually great. Definitely a grower though, I used to jump for the skip button a few years back.
LoveLiveMusic - I absolutely love this song. I’m not sure if it was intentionally using the word ‘guy’ meaning a man or actually Guy Ritchie. Despite how their relationship ended, Madonna seemed to be really happy with him in the beginning of their relationship. Rocco was also kind of a miracle child since she had birth complications as well.
Pandora– I love this track. It’s one of the better ones from the album and the lyrics are great
Alongoria13 - Bland.

Ok, now I'm genuinely upset. Back to back of my 10's. These songs were really deserving to get a little more recognition.

Out before Words, Thief of Hearts, Like It Or Not and various other filler.
Come on this is one of her best ballads ever. How did Forbidden Love get onto STR over this?
Ughhhh I'm out:

The only "ok, this song should've left earlier" moment goes to "I Deserve It".
Truly deserved tbh

Hillary Clinton. Why did I not think of that?
How High, Like It Or Not, and Words are all amazing. (Though like Vilppu said, Words is no Waiting.)

MDNA Tour her power.
I'm actually surprised She's Not Me didn't win from Hard Candy though, considering it had by far the best tour performance & there's a studio version of it floating around that works much better than any form of Devil.
M-Dolla refuses to die.

Gang Bang should not be in the Top 100 let alone in the Top 40 Benefiting from that slayful tour performance I see.

Girl, the worst update in the history of all rates was losing the 80s back to back to back in 70-61. I'm pressed over a few songs that left today. But honestly Confessions and Erotica needed some fat trimmed and Rebel Heart's standard tracks have benefited from being compared positively to the sea of demos people had to sift through.
