I don't know how much the rest of you know about music culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in television where you can become successful by being an asshole. What this means is the music public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Apple Music for neither time period, nor will they purchase any of Apple's devices. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Apple has alienated an entire market with this move.

9 weeks is very possible at no1 especially in the US. Hello is an absolute monster. I wouldnt bet against it at all. Its gonna get more boosts from promo and album release in 3-4 weeks. And xmas sales!

Ed Sheehan does well in the Hot ADULT Contemporary (HAC), ADULT contemporary (AC), AAA (ADULT Album Alternative) for a reason. Where does Hotline Bling go on those charts?

The radio format that gets the youngest listeners is rhythmic, and guess what? Hotline Bling did way better than Thinking Out Loud.
