BEP was #1 last with like 263 points...all "3" has to do is sell over 265k+ downloads first week + some radio audience and it'll be #1. And sorry to say "Run This Town" nor "Paparazzi" are competition if it sells well. They can't even get past BEP now, let alone a new Britney song.
And how exactly is Gaga's new single competition when it's not out til 4 days after "3" and not even released to iTunes the same time? Stop trying to make her into everything, geez.

^ Lady Gaga will perform the single on SNL on October 3, which means that we will get a radio premiere a few days earlier. And it will be released to iTunes in early October, so that people can download it after the SNL performance.
And why do you think 3 will sell that much? It almost as much as Womanizer sold in it's first week, there's no way 3 will do this.

The new GaGa single wont be going to radio for another month or so,which means it wont sell much until then.It'll probably get an immediate digital release because GaGa wouldnt repress it from her fans to get a #1,but a SNL performance wont be enough to reach #1.

Err, there's no way? Seriously? :=/ it is a new Britney song after all.  Her 2nd single last year sold almost 230k. It's definitely not hard to believe and expect her new 1st single could sell 260k.

Well...But 3 is not having the same boost nor promotion like Womanizer & Circus had...she performed those songs on the Morning Show....
I really hope that she can sell that much..but well.. I doubt it...

Womanizer was released basically two months before the GMA performance.
And I'm not saying it's gonna sell 290k like Womanizer did. But it's possible it sells something on lines of 250-260k, and Kiril said that's out of question.

It'd be amazing if she entered the Hot 100 at #100 and next week jumped to #1, so she can make a historical record that no one will ever break and plus, break her own record.

Yeah but everybody talked about Womanizer....after the VMA'S 2008 Britney was the ISH, and everybody wanted to hear her Real Comeback Song.."Womanizer"...
The world out there expect the fans don't know that there is a new song in the coming....

BRITannica with a mini review about "3" -
It's up-tempo along the lines of 'If U Seek Amy' and 'Womanizer' (in my opinion!) And the lyrics push the envelope a bit and will probably give that 'If U Seek Amy' bashing news anchor a run for her money.
Just 2 more days and we get it

If this really is a song about threesomes with religious figures, then I lost all my respect for her. There's just some things you don't touch. "If U Seek Amy" was wine, it was just about sex, but this is too far.

Geez I still thought the Black Eyed Peas' points were in the 300's. This makes it actually possible!!! 
It all depends on how much exposure the song gets its first week. If it gets a lot of press, then a #1 is possible.
There better be a sick beat and a hot video or ....
