The lyrics are nice, but even that they're quite cliché
There was clear evolution between 19 and 21. I just don't see it yet for 25.
Hello is a bland mix of Skyfall and SLY. But i'm looking foward to the Bruno Mars track, i'm sure it will be different.
yeah, I feel all of you. Hello is just a cute lil song, nothing that would slay me. Yes, her voice is great, but we heard it too many times on that type of song already.
Hello is a good song but a little bit too repetitive and not as catchy as SLY, the lyrics are ok but not that good tho. Her voice + production are amazing. The video is well directed but kinda boring.
In conclusion I love the song but I'm not impressed. The hurricane will pass.
The song is fantastic. Objectively speaking, the lyrics are simple but intimate and tell a very coherent story. The overall structure and progression, and how it builds and swells, combined with the sparse production and her vocal delivery.
It's one thing to not like it personally, but to say it's "nothing special"....come on.
