I really do reccomend travelling alone at least once. It's a real eye opening experience.

I've been to Prague before and it was SO good! I was scared because my brother studied there for 6 years and mentioned how people can be racist, But tbh you'll find that in every country. Plus we never experienced any problems when we were there. But I'd love to go again. I want to move to another country so badly.

Paris is beautiful but it's not sunny this time of the year, the weather is crap. Plus it is so crowded with tourists all the time and scammers are everywhere. Those women asking for donations for deaf children at the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Pont d'Ant, etc
RyanAir in their Official Website had the best deal. Flying on a Saturday is expensive in general though, but my friend is only free the weekend so I couldn't see her if I went during the week

Oh okay, so you'd recommend it? Did you get by okay just speaking English? My mom and I have been wanting to go forever, we might just have to do it next year.

Yeah, it sucks how the prices skyrocket for flights over the weekend. And also if you book short notice. I think it should be the other way round, especially for low cost carriers the prices should be lower the nearer the departure date is so that people can be spontaneous.

It really is beautiful. I've been twice now and each time I adored it.

Yeah we got away with English. I think you'll always get away with English in main cities. Even in Paris where the French seem to hate speaking it, from my experience. .

Ok cool. Ugh, the French are the worst. Where I live in Germany is really close to the border, and many French people from that area know or at least understand German. But when we go over there, they act like they don't understand you They're so full of themselves.

I remember going into a cafe once and asked "Parlez-vous anglais?". She replied no. So I tried to order in French and when she noticed I was struggling she started speaking English . The same happened in another restaurant . At least I tried to speak the local language though.
I'm currently planning a trip to Paris for late spring/early summer 2016. It's a lifelong dream finally coming true.
I'd very much like at least one of my friends to come with me but everyone I know is broke af. I'm not at all opposed to going alone. It'll be my first real trip/vacation anywhere, and my fist time on a plane ( I know).
Any tips (or warnings )? I'm not going the economy/youth hostel/etc. route. It's going to be 5-star hotels and boutiques all the way.
I can go eat where I want, go out to see what I want to see and club where I want to. Then I can also meet a guy while I'm traveling and have a little fling wherever I travel without worrying about friends or company.
That's what I like about it, the freedom to do whatever you want. Plus I don't have anyone that would be able to go so why not?

All the Americans I've spoken to on my travels love Paris the most.
I went to Berlin for 5 days by myself. It was nice because it allowed me to be spontaneous and do the things I was really interested in (certain museums, shopping, one morning I just chilled in Starbucks etc.). As a female, I did feel a bit unsafe sometimes in the evenings though. But that's the only downside, really.

I plan on going to Europe for 2 weeks, one week in London and the other in Paris. I feel like that would be enough time to do everything without rushing and having time to relax.
I've been wanting to visit for a while now and next year would be the first time I actually have an opportunity to go. I don't really mind being alone (I actually prefer it) so I think it would be great

I wouldn't wanna go by myself though...the problem is my friends aren't necessarily on the same wavelength as me, so either wouldn't want to do the same sort of things or just don't have the time and money right now.
