Wait? Why isn't Nicki or Eminem credited if the remix versions combined were ahead on iTunes for most of the week. And if Britney was credited for S&M, why isn't Nicki or Eminem? Can someone explain to me, it's not fair how Nicki and Eminem got a robbed a #1. This isn't funny.

S&M remix sold more than original it that one week.

Original version of Hills sold more than Eminem version and much more than Nicki version

Well, it wouldn't be necessarily fair to strip the #1 away years after the fact.

It would be like adding streaming to charts from 2012. Can't change the rules retroactively.

For example, if Eminem's version sold more than the original version and had more points than the original version, would both Nicki and Eminem be credited or only Eminem?

Even if the previous rule was not changed Nicki and Eminem wouldn't have gotten the #1 spot because both are on separate remixes. billboard would count the original song and the biggest remix in the total that week and neither Em's version or Nicki's version has outsold the original this week so non of them would of gotten #1 even with the old rules.

Only Eminem, but his version would have to outsell the original for MULTIPLE weeks in a row.
