Because Self-Titled was successful. And the hype for her future works has been re-instated. So we're going to get the follow up to a successful album like we were supposed to after IASF before she got pregnant and scrapped everything for 4.
PS: I don't know why people want to refer to 4 as the rule. When, if you look at Bey's entire career, it's the exception.  It's like her Erotica or American Life in between successful eras.
At least if you say Rihanna will flop, it makes sense, since she's been on a steady decline since Loud.

I guess you're right. But albums based on the previous album's hype don't do as well as said album unless they also have something to make them successful on their own.
BEYONCE had the surprise release and the 17 videos video-album thing. 4 had a great promotional campaign and was coming off of a 8m selling album.
B6 is coming off a 4m selling album and it won't have the surprise release. But like I said, this is Beyonce and she always finds a way to do big numbers so I won't predict how her next will do
