I don't think the season would be THAT different. The Countess isn't as central to the plot like Lana, Fiona or Elsa were, but that's a good thing for this show.
If the Countess/Gaga weren't here, they could easily still get the season to where it is now, but she still adds a lot that I appreciate and wouldn't want to go without.
Exactly, not that there would have been no Hotel if it wasnt for Gaga ut's just that it wouldnt be the same and I dont want to have been witness of that kind of Hotel

true, but she gives some kind of a fresh feeling and adds a lot to the overall vibe of the season. This season would seem quite dull if she wasn't in it I think.
No, I'm not saying that the Countess is unneeded for the season. But her sitting in a penthouse and doing nothing is becoming annoying and I hope that's not what happens in the third ep too. The Countess and other characters need more interaction between each other. The fact that there's not one scene between Sally and the Countess in first 6 episodes

No vampirism storyline.
No Iris in the hotel.
No Donovan.
No Will Drake storyline.
Basically the only storyline left would be the 10Ck and Wes Bentley And Alex wouldn't be needed either, unless she is the 10CK.
Wes's story is mostly related to Holden/kidnapping and if there's no Countess, there wouldn't be John Lowe screaming "HALLLDDEEN!1!" and getting himself a place in the Hotel so
10CK is the only stroyline, so far , doesn't involve the countess

yeah the 10CK ''story line''. Watch it be dropped in the next 2 episodes now that Mr March was introduced and John knows of his (former) existence and even connects it to the new murders..

Still waiting for Chloe's character to become a new Lana of the season. And looks like it will be soon because she finds Holden in ep3, tries to cure him in ep4 and also tries to kill herself. Maybe finally something will be happening with the central plot
yeah the central plot is a bot boring, especially since they didnt even make a secret as to who is the killer (i still dont get it?) but i enjoy it more than covens (it was like its own series) or freak shows which was not clear enough.
