But hasn't the Taylor Swift spoken about Hands to Myself?
Then again, the Selena Gomez spoke about Sober.

Selena did specifically say Sober would be a single, she never said the same about HTM (she just hyped it a lot)

Sober should be 3rd Single, HTM 4th Single
It would be so much BETTER .... Sober is amazing for winter, HTM is amazing for spring + summer

That's exactly what I'm thinking. "Sober" would do better in the winter, and "Hands To Myself" can kickstart the summer/tour with a hot video directed by Harmony Korine.

I LOVE her for that Mexican flair in M&MG, and she has made it into a really good pop song too
Idk I have newfound respect for Selena after listening to this, I expected some generic Disney crap but this is actually a really solid effort, especially considering where she's coming from

I don't know why I cringe so hard every time the bridge for Me & The Rhythm plays I hate it so much "If you feel like you're the spark, then come out of the dark"

Picked up the Target exclusive but I wish the standard packaging and deluxe were switched around. Why does the standard slay so much?

I think Sober being the third single and Hands to Myself being 4th would be perfect tbh. And then I would need Perfect to be the 5th single for my own selfish reasons.

Everytime I listen to an album, I can't help but visualize what i'd like the video to look like almost to the point where I fantasize about it. Thought i'd share on here, feel free to tell me what you think.
Revival- very literal on this one. Video kinda moody/dark, she literally stars chained up, asleep. The chains are broken, she stands up, and as she sings she starts making her way out of the prison she's in. On the second verse, they keep trying to imprison her, but she ends up overtaking her capturers.
That or some illuminati creepy ****, where she's resurrected from some sort of coffin That'd kinda slay ngl
Kill Em With Kindness - This is her Ghandi equivalent anthem Video starts with the sort of cliche concept of different people having sucky lives. I'd love a focus on the lgbt community. For example, video would start with a gay kid in high school kind of dreading going into school, getting bullied etc for his sexuality and having a sucky home life.
Selena's singing scenes would look almost Holy. Dressed in white, with beautiful scenery.
At the end of the video, the messiah (Selena) leads her followers down the path of kindness And the victims end up victorious. (gay kid goes to school holding hands with his sexy bf)
OR
2) Kick-ass war video, huge budget with tanks and ****. Different aspects symbolizing some of the things Selena has faced (one of the troops could be paps, with camera-styled guns)
Hands to Myself- ahh, this flawless jam. Couple different ideas for this one but in all of them, Selena is basically a horny b*** who just wants to feel her man.
1) like in one of them, video starts with her getting fixated on some flawless (and I mean FLAWLESS) guy. She kind stalks him, singing to him, confusing the hell out of him. Even sneaks into his bedroom to feel him him. Ties him up and just goes nuts on the bridge, and ends up arrested
2) this video kinda needs a cute flawless choreo, could be iconic tbh. idk, something with her hands a la single ladies, fits the vibe imo.
Same Old Love- I do like the video but it could have been SO much better.
1) If she wanted to keep the concept it already has, it should have started with a clip of her having a huge argument with her beau. Then the video starts normally with her walking out of the hotel. Would kind of make more sense with how she's judging all the couples and why she's so "sick of that same old love"
2) Totally different video, showing lots of argument scenes in her relationship. Second verse, he comes trying to win her over, they almost hook up but she ends up kicking him out after they fight again. She walks around the town like in the actual video, and each location she visits, she recalls on bad moment with her ex. (exes)
Sober- Super bubbly video, I see it bright and gorgeous. Magical. Something a la Blank Space, flawless dresses and outfits. Scenery. This one would show her reminiscing on good moments with her love interest, but is then brought back to reality to a relationship that isn't all that good. Somewhat campy/funny scenes, like her lover paying no attention to her on a date. The bridge is so anthemic, it'd have to be BIG.
Good for You SUCH A DISAPPOINTING VIDEO-- don't even get me started. If she wanted to keep the simplistic vibe, she should have at least made it that by the end of the video she actually does the things the lyrics say. So video stays the same, but by the last chorus: she's wearing some sexy red lipstick highlighting her Latina beauty, tight ass dress, and the video ends with the dress dropping to the floor and her leaning in to her hot love interest.
2) if not, video would consist of her getting ready to go out with her lover. Doing her hair, makeup etc, trying on a dress, and just getting all sexy, but she'd still be feeling HERSELF on a mirror (So this is just her). He knocks on her door to pick her up on the last chorus, but they end up staying and ****ing.
Camouglage- N/A
Me & The Rhythm 70s/80s themed video in some club. Meh. could be good.
Survivors Shipwreck/train crash on an Island, only her and some guy survive. They show them falling in love on the Island as they try to survive the hardships there.
Body Heat - For some reason, I see this one as Selena on a position of vulnerability (a maid perhaps), singing to her "master" in this case and completely owning him. Mexican/Latin/Fire elements throughout the video.
Rise - Simple video of Selena singing to a congregation of suffering individuals, and everything goes ballistic during the chorus.
Me & My Girls- video starts with a clip of some hot douchebag guys trying to hit on Selena. Melody begins, Selena's chicas come in, they slap around the guys, singing over them, etc. Her feminist anthem.
Nobody- this could have a really emotional beautiful video. idk I kind of see her getting ready, we think she's going to see her boyfriend somewhere. Something in the vicinity of The One That Got Away. But by bridge we find out he's actually dead and she was getting ready to visit his grave.
Perfect- TWISTED video. This video would be her singing the lyrics alone, some scenes while her boyfriend is there and she's suspicious of him, with scattered scenes of him hooking up with some blonde girl. But by the end of the video, we see the blonde girl's face and it's actually Selena (DUN DUN DUN) she's trying to be her.
I know some of these are kinda corny haha but I always overthink music videos. None of her videos this era have TRULY slayed me so I hope she brings it with her next single. Please.

Easily tied as the worst lyrics on the whole album (along with the "Kill Em With Kindess" chorus IMO), I wish she hadn't gotten lazy and used the same line over and over again for some bridges

The videos this era have been so disappointing tbh I wish the video version of GFY on ASAP's channel had been the one officially released. Hopefully the next videos don't disappoint.

Sober needs to be the next single, but Im pretty sure its gonna be HTM. She said sober was going to be the next single "at some point, maybe the 4th". And we know she has the third single picked out. Its HTM.

Boo.. What are you trying to create here? Sounds like a bad **** plot. Whenever I envision a music video perfectly I can never describe it well either.

A good attempt at a more mature album I guess.
I'll be back by next week girls.
