Congratulations to EVERYONE for making it through to Round 2! I said 40 contestants would make it, but I didn't say only 40 contestants would make it...
Platinum Hit is ALL about growth. And how can we judge your growth based on one entry? We simply cannot. Therefore, the decision was made to make the first round a NON-ELIMINATION round. Sort of like an audition, but we're letting everyone try out for the part.
What this means is that next round there will be a large amount of eliminations. Your scores from R1 and R2 will be averaged out in order to determine your final score for the audition stage.
Only the Top 30 contestants will make it to Round 3.
Some advice:
If you placed in the top end this round, don't let it get to your head. You still need to come hard next round if you want to make it to the Top 30 and keep your spot at the top of the leaderboard.
If you placed in the middle, now's your time to step out from the crowd. Give this next challenge everything that you've got.
If you were at the back of the pack, don't lose hope. Everyone has bad weeks, and this might have been yours. Just shake it off and come for BLOOD in Round 2, and we might see some (or most!) of you in Round 3.
