she isn't even really belting that much and its usually just during the choruses anyway, i kinda like it because its give the songs a little kick

Not at all, if you saw one of my last replies. I said I could accept any opinion except the argument "she's belting too much". Go back and read it

And Beyoncé is more a perfomer rather than a singer, she's a technical singer, she doesn't really take risks when it comes to range, and some of her songs do lack the "belting part" that you find annoying and I find better.

Just because she can doesn't mean she should. She did oversing at parts, did she sound good? Yes. But it wasn't necessary most times.

The only times she belts are the in the bridge and the high notes at the end... pretty much the rest of the songs are just verses with not that much of belting

I'm just really happy with this album. Her sound is so authentic, that her previous albums failed to do. It's not even generic, and her voice has been really maximized throughout the whole album. I really love the album !

We got it. Some of you don't like it. But at least don't call it screaming, because it isn't. And then, move on. There are people like me who love her belting. It's annoying reading over and over again the same critics. Just move on.

I think she has really done a good job. The only song where I can get your over-belting argument is maybe Stone Cold. But I think it's a magnificent song either way.

Aside from CFTS and Confident, I only really like Lionheart.

Lionheart is amazing.

The rest are forgettable but I'll give it another listen tomorrow as it could grow on me.
