Well before the incident they were both at their peak and selling the most albums they could.
I believe they both won male and female artist of the year around that time for the billboard awards.
Obviously a nobody wouldn't garner as much attention and Chris beating her bloody did get attention.
It's a shame because Chris brown at most will be a r&b legend.
He could never be MJ but he could have given Bruno Justin and usher a runfor their money.
He would probably be at 100m records right now with a few 4x platinum albums
