Don't be ridiculous, BCYS. Teenage girls don't buy albums. Teenage girls need money to buy albums, and teenage girls don't work, so they have no money. They take selfies, quote "Mean Girls," and go to concerts. Soccer moms buy Taylor Swift albums (and Justin Bieber albums) for their tween and teenage girls and soccer moms pay for them to go to those concerts.
Artists pandering to the fickle tween/teenage girl demographic are really pandering to soccer moms.
