This album has grown on me sooo much! At first I didn't really like the direction she's taken, I was expecting more songs like Good For You and I was a bit disappointed when I saw it was one of the few tracks I liked. Thankfully I listened to the album over and over again and started to appreciate the new sound.

It's definitely a grower album, it keeps getting better

Urban audience still buy albums. Selena never had a strong fanbase, like the most don't go overboard for her like others fanbases do, except a few, and I'm guessing the nude cover scared some parents. Besides Stars Dance had more hype pré-release, it was released on her 21th birthday night and I remember everyone doing the countdown and hoping midnight and Selena posting drunk birthday pics and the Birthday video. Revival had hype about the kind of sound, but the leaking killed it. Tweens need hype, because they act impulsively, they just go with the flow

But the sales are not bad, comparing with her others 1st weeks, I'm more worried about next week's drop
