1)Why didn't she want to make Dark Horse a single and chose Uncle to be the 2nd
2)Underline that birthday music video is trash, she should delete it and make the lyric one the official

I think it's pretty obvious she didn't want another hit from Prism after Birthday failed. The only reason I can see for her releasing a song that was guaranteed to fail is because she wanted it to fail.

You don't release a song radio has promised to boycott if you are looking for a hit, especially when your fanbase itself has rejected the song.

Yes, because she sent it to radio knowing they wouldn't play it. That's the only thing that makes sense.

TIHWD was the right pick, the GP said "yes", radio said no. Unfortunately, airplay contributes to the charts more than streaming.

Radio was quite vocal about how much they hated the song, if she didn't know she needs to fire the division of her team which deals with publicity of her singles as they've clearly completely failed on a fundamental aspect of their job. The second step in choosing a single is asking radio how they feel about the initial choice(s).

Plus, fire the person who wrote that bridge. The verses are fairly awful too, send everyone involved to sing writing class. It made me feel too old to be a Katy Perry fan, and since a massive proportion of her fanbase are adults that's not a good thing for her.


She either has a completely incompetent team or she didn't want a hit.
