Incidentally, I'd like to announce a new type of rate, one that Prismatic will be heading.

To deal with the constant requests to change our rules and allow albums to be re-rated, I've devised something different: We'll be taking on six years that saw a number of albums previously rated - 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014 - and reintroducing them. Voters *you all* will pick your favorite five or ten songs from each respective album, and they will form a "megarate" to determine the best song of the year.

Sound like a good compromise?

I get what you're saying, and I too thought it would be silly to lump Miley in with the others, since she's on a different level than her.

Maybe you and Marvin want to cohost and throw Tinashe in? Call it On The Verge or summat like that. Leave Miley for a rate with Adele and 1D and Bieber - you know, stars on the A-List.

What's the theme o the TTAL/TS/GOF rate going to be? Veterans who released in 2012? I'd be here for that, but maybe we should add another album to it like Lotus to make it four?

Lotus was already used sadly, but it would have fit so perfectly.

Oh yeah - now THAT's a cute idea. The only thing, though, is that Pink would not fit then! The idea of this rate is catching up with the girls who debuted around the turn of the century, some ten or so years later. Wanted it to be strictly 2012, but we can extend it to 2011 and add LOVE?.
