3 The Weeknd - Beauty Behind the Madness (+1)
4 Drake & Future - What a Time To Be Alive (-1)
Do you think The Weeknd could challenge Selena?

Streaming is a huge factor where he's bigger, who knows. Could Drake & Future challenge here as well?

Oh that's right, those remixes will probably count in BBTM's SPS which is completely unfair IMO.

I honestly think y'all are overrating the effect the remixes are gonna have by a lot.

Not when he is 2:1 right now combined
Tesfaye isn't playing this era
inb4 The Weeknd ft. Nicki Minaj or Eminem - The Hills
that's how Billboard will probably credit it next week

Eminem released two brand new songs for a Soundtrack in June.
Quote:
On the chart dated June 20, 2015, "Phenomenal" entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 47 as the week's highest-ranking debut, powered by first-week digital download sales of 77,000 copies.
"Kings Never Die" was the highest-ranking debut for the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated August 1, 2015, entering the chart at number 80. Its chart debut was supported by first-week digital download sales of 35,000 copies

That's what they sold first week as new songs, with him as a lead artist, and being in a movie. This is a remix, with him featured, to a song that's not new and already a #1 hit.
And Hotline Bling's video is dropping in the remix's 2nd week, meaning the sales will be even less by then.
If the remix is still perched atop by the end of the week then I'd start doing like y'all and being shocked, but it's just been 12 hours. People already saying his remix will do 100K+ alone, block Selena's album on SPS, etc.

The remixes effect is going to wear out by two days, Drake is still getting the #1 soon.

What does that have to do with anything?
This is him being featured on a remix of a song that's already a #1 hit.
It's completely different from him releasing a new single he's on as lead artist with a radio deal back in 2013. It's an entirely different scenario.
His two songs released 3 months ago, without a radio deal, and promotion would deem a more similar comparison to how this will remix perform. And even then, those 2 songs were brand new and he was lead artist.

The two remixes are so bad but the original is INCREDIBLE. So anything for hum to stay on top!
Where is Revival?
Same Old Love still top 10

Those 2 singles were for some lame 15 years anniversary album. His last true album, MMLP2, had Berzerk go #3, Rap God go #6 and The Monster go #1. Eminem has a huge fanbase and they will literally buy anything with his name on it. Plus it is already #3 and soon to go #2. That is huge for a REMIX. PLUS don't forget that NICKI MINAJ is on, too. She went #2 with Anaconda, top 3 with Bang Bang and top 10 with Hey Mama (an EDM song top 10 in 2015. Let that sink in for a minute). It's not like remixes haven't helped songs before, just see S&M ft. Britney Spears. Tesfaye has this week on lock. I don't know about next week, Hotline Bling might reach #1 if he releases that goddamn video. I don't think either Adele or Ariana will hit #1 through, but if Focus On Me does do it, i wouldn't be that surprised.

Yeah, but TEA are more important on that situation, and it was unfair to allow the remix sales to count for 1989's units, it's not on the album

And this isn't for any album, so why are you expecting it to perform similar to songs on his albums, let alone songs he did for a 15 year anniversary album?
& it wasn't for a 15 year anniversary album. The 2 songs were for a Soundtrack, featured in the movie, and in the movie's commercials and still sold that much.
Yes, I'm aware of how much Eminem's new singles as lead artists sell. But this is not a new single, and Eminem is not lead artist. But I mean, if you're expecting the remix to perform similar to Berzerk / Rap God / The Monster in sales, we'll see next week I guess.

No. He had 60k this week and will maybe grow a bit next week, but not that much. Not possible for him to challenge Selena

So would you say that ET featuring Kanye West should not count as a single from the album Teenage Dream?
