I hate when Nicki is only provided a few seconds early into a song (Sugar, The Hills) and then vanishes from the face of the earth. The intro with her sensual moaning >
Not the Nicki remix contributing to barely 10% of its total after a live premiere on SNL. Yikes.
She was smart on her come up copying Kim foxy eve and remy ma and lil wayne's formula.
She made savvy moves first era.
Then after that she just disinfranchized (sp.) her fanbase.
She went too pop and the rap stuff was subpar...lost most of her sales.
Then she got back in the urban genre's good graces and they just used her for streams for the drake features and radio but didn't buy the album or see her on tour for consistent sellouts.
I still notice they haven't released new boxscores in awhile.
A shame...potential veered by quick get rich schemes

It was at #2 on hot 100 and I think they thought Nicki had the selling power that she had in 2011 to make this go to the top and then Maroon 5 had the nerve to take one of her records from her when they debuted top 10 and stayed in the top 10 for 21 weeks.
