I said this before and stand by it. The opposite of love is not hate it's indifference.
Iggy made an impact. When she was struggling to make a name they didn't care because she wasn't competition.
Once she surpassed expectations, that's when the claws came out.
She got reamed for past mistakes and handled it poorly.
She went through that and is a wiser person...hopefully she puts the lessons learned in her music.
that said, her impact is undeniable but this is the time to set her on the right lane.
If it doesn't go well she'll travel the fad lane in which she had the opportunity the make it right and didn't come through.
If done right, she will smack the naysayers in the face and re-brand herself for lucrative opportunities in the future and she has the ability to further make history.
At minimum she's made history as a white female rapper that was able to have success and make an iconic rap song like Fancy which is still heavily viewed and will be referenced for years and decades to come. Now it's her chance to align those references amongst even more hits or down the ice ice baby/baby got back route.
I honestly think her team knows there's too much to win if this is done correctly and I don't think she will fail.
