Yes, 2009-2010 was such a huge Pop Culture time. Bad Romance, Tik Tok, Empire State of Mind, BedRock, I Gotta Feeling / Boom Boom Pow, Party In the USA, Baby, California Gurls, there was so many iconic hits during that time too.
The news had a lot of huge moments / pop trends too. Haiti Earthquake, BP Oil Spill, OctoMom, Tiger Woods, Kanye/Taylor, Jon & Kate.
Pop Culture hasn't felt as interesting/huge since 2009/2010.
2009-2010 were such intense years for pop culture. Not only was there tons of stuff going on, but it was all so ******* insane.
Tiger Woods cheating on his wife with like 25 women, MJ's death, Susan Boyle, Kanye/Taylor drama, Charlie Sheen holding his wife at knifepoint, Jersey Shore, Mel Gibson's threatening voicemail, that hoe from The Hills getting reconstructed from head to toe, Sandra Bullock's Nazi husband, Octomom, that couple faking their kid being sent up in a blimp, Rihanna/Chris Brown, etc. There was something new like every week.
Yes, she was hilarious, down to earth, relatable, and she always stood her ground and kept it real, one of the most intriguing reality tv personas we've ever had
I loved Pauly and Vinny too but now that I look back they were fake as hell
Loved Jwoww too but her storyline was boring
I had a love hate/relationship with Ron and Sam
Tolerated Deena and couldn't stand Mike (WTF happened to him )
i really liked jwoww, she has a great personality
mike's face he was the worst Jersey Shore member ever.
2011 was a great year too with Nicki and Superbass, Selena/Justin, The BTW (one of the messiest/entertaining eras of all time), Katy slaying left and right, Osama getting killed, Real World Las Vegas
Vinny was my favorite character. He was the only one who didn't seem like a total asshole, and he was the only actual Italian on the show. The rest of them were like Mexican or some ****.
Who would've thought that Snooki would've aged far better than everyone else on that show? I remember the public was legit panicking when she announced that she was pregnant, and there were people who actually were encouraging her to get an abortion.
And in 2009-2010 that's when the internet like REALLY blew up. Facebook became huge, Twitter became a thing, VEVO started, and we were getting to a point where we used the internet on a daily basis for life. 2009-2010 were such trailblazing years lord.
Wtf happen to Octomom? She was literally Kim Kardashian huge while she was relevant. Like EVERYONE was keeping up with her. She was getting dragged so much.
She was wrong for having those kids knowing she couldn't support them, and the doctor was wrong for risking her life like that though.

Vinny wasn't as cool as they portrayed him to be tho, he started a lot of petty **** with Mike (deservingly so) and he played tf out of Snooki , he treated Angelina like ****, and he always had a lot to say in the confessionals. Pauly actually was the calmest in the house/on the show.

And it was when social media blew up too. Before that, everyone around me either used Myspace or those little AIM chatrooms, but then everyone just started using Facebook and ditched everything else.
I remember JT buying the rights to Myspace in like 2011. Maybe the worst investment in pop music history
Are Snookie and Deena not friends anymore? They were advertised as BFFs on Jersey Shore, but literally seconds after it ended, Snookie & J. Wow became besties, got a show, and Deena was never heard from again.
I also didn't like how everyone hated Angelina.
