Not really, Sam said that a basic verse-chorus structure would actually be not advised.

I typically try to judge constructively, by highlighting my favorite and least favorite parts or lines of the song. I try to take into account previous rounds as well in your critique (but not your score) to let you know how you're improving or if you're just getting worse. I may joke around in my critique or say something you might find inappropriate but that's just my personality so don't take it personally. My only goal is to help you all improve as much as possible so that's what I'll do.

My advice would be to stick to a concept and try to have some form of repetition, whether it's a full blown chorus, a hook, a repeated line, or just a repeated sound. Have something that resembles a verse (the details or events of the song) and a chorus (the theme as well as the "biggest" and catchiest part) even if those two sections aren't actually present.
