I literally DIED during the M&G.
This was literally the first time I had ever met them/seen them live. And as I walked up to them, Aubrey was like, "Oh my god, aren't you Melvin from Twitter?" (Because she retweeted my tweet about me adding the album to our store playlist) and I literally melted.
Shannon was then like, "Yessssss Aubrey, I remember you showing me that." When I told them I flew from Atlanta to see them, they were like "Aweeeee, we love you! You're coming to the ATL show right?" And I was like, "Of course, I have the M&G there too!" And they were like, "YAY, Can't wait to see you!"
It was a great experience, Except for "Early Entry" being a joke, We were in line to meet them way in advance, it was supposed to start at 6, and the doors opened at 7. Our M&G didn't start till 6:40, and they started letting people from the regular line in at 6:58. We were SO irked, and even the DB team was like, "No, there were supposed to have first pick at where to stand/sit (this venue had General admission seats)." So besides me having to stand a little farther back than I wanted to, it was a great experience.
In our bags, we got an autographed poster (the one that comes with the album packages) and a pair of the pink sunglasses that say "Dumblonde"
I'm excited for the ATL show, because it says we get a separate VIP Q&A session, so that will be fun. I hope they just do all of this after the show.
