I want a grand opening (new owner) or something, just an episode with more people at the hotel for some event.
Needs to explore more locations than the entrance, front desk and Room 64 too.
We need a kitchen. There's always a kitchen!
Ok it's obvious I'm interested otherwise I wouldn't be criticising each and every frame.

Episode one is 1/13th of the overall story. They showed us that Gaga has some kind of a plan, they showed us that some murders are happening and someone is killing those people (we don't know who). They showed us different characters story arcs (Sally, Kathy, Matt, Gaga) etc. like

If you were to ask me what's the plot of the season, I wouldn't be able to tell you, and that's what bothering me.
"What's the show about": Murders in a hotel.
"Where is it going": I don't really know.
Idk, that's also why critics gave the show mixed review. It felt like it didn't go anywhere

I like the theme of addiction- everyone is addicted to something, blood, sex, drugs, video games, etc..

It was soooo good omg.
I loved the atmosphere. It was legit scary and creepy and not just because of the gore (I was expecting the foursome scene to be worse than it was in that aspect).
Kathy and Sarah were amazing Gaga was alright but I'm having trouble separating her from "Lady Gaga" and seeing Elizabeth Cortez.
They still have so much to explain but I'm excited. Such an improvement from Freak Show.

The show isn't directed at people who have professionally studied storytelling, though.
The story arcs just seemed to be nothing but sex and drugs and no actual plot to them... apart from maybe the police officer.
As Tanguy said, all you can see is murders in a hotel and nothing more than that.
I doubt any of the general public could tell you what the plot is.

This is a TV Series Guys stop, I am not going to educate y'all. What plot ? You realize that you can be watching 10 episodes and on the 11th something happens (a twist) and you realize that that wasn't the plot the whole time...
Stop talking as if you are professionals.
What was the plot of Asylum after you watched the first episode ? Can you tell me ? Or Murder House ?
What was the plot of Game of thrones after you watched the first 2-3 episodes of season one ?
I'm gonna end it here. There is a plot, but it's 1/13th of that plot, because it's a Limited series. I mean

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: This one looks so different. Freak Show had much more static shots. Hotel has a ton of movement and fish eye-lenses. Why that choice?
RYAN MURPHY: Every season has a different tone. I think last season was literally about being out in the open and being exposed and naked and nowhere to hide with your differences. This season is more paranoid. It’s more claustrophobic. It’s more about hiding things. Hotels by nature are a good place to store secrets. [AHS cinematographer] Michael Goi and I sorta came up with a look. Also one the things that was an inspiration to us this season was the idea of the peepholes. We had the title sequence around that. Visually it’s supposed to be a representation of somebody can always watch you.
So Sally is a ghost?
Yeah she was pushed out the window. She died on the property.
Who is the man in the bed who the two blonde women find in the beginning?
You’ll see that more in the second episode. Anybody who comes through to do a drug deal with Sally usually meets that fate.
She is the purveyor of sewing them into mattresses.
After feeding the blondes, Iris complains she has to go “feed that thing in room 33.” Will we meet that thing?
Yes. We have an entire episode dedicated to the thing in room 33—episode 5. The thing in room 33’s name is
Bartholomew.
Is the Ten Commandments Killer tied to The Countess?
Yeah, everyone is tied to the Ten Commandments Killer. The great fun is, “Who among them is that killer?” It’s obviously someone who’s staying in the hotel.
What can you say about episode two, “Chutes and Ladders”?
Episode two takes you deeper into the mythology of the characters and you get to meet some more people. You get to meet Mr. March who is Evan Peters. I think this is Evan’s best role we’ve ever done. Usually Evan is the tortured good guy or the tortured ingénue. But this year we decided to go a very different route and just make him perhaps the worst human being to have ever lived. So he’s the bad guy and you get to really meet him and how he built the hotel. It’s loosely inspired by HH Holmes and that hotel of horrors he made.
It gets into the romantic exploits of Gaga and Matt Bomer. You also get to meet Finn Wittrock’s character who is a
tortured crystal meth-using
male model, so that’s always fun. You meet Naomi Campbell who’s brilliant and hilarious. She plays a bored Vogue magazine editor.
Also, in the second episode, is an amazing sequence where we get to see Gaga’s character in
Studio 54 in the late ‘70s
. The hilarious thing about that is when we shot that 3 months ago, we used that
Chic song, “I Want Your Love.”

Sis... that's exactly the point. You are a viewer. You can only wonder what will happen next. That's the point
It's like a puzzle. You are going to need the other 12 parts, otherwise you have only 1/13th of it - that's NOTHING.

1) The show isn't directed at professionals. How can you expect all of the GP to know everything about scriptwriting and storytelling. The story should be clear whether you are a professional or not. Anyways, you don't need to be a professional to understand a show.
2) Everybody always knew that the end of GOT will be ' Who will get the Iron Throne?'

I do miss Jessica though. Gaga was alright but Jessica was electrifying. Just the way she talked was fascinating.

I just showed my mom the foursome scene, she said "Lady Gaga must be happy doing her thing"
She'll be watching the premiere tonight (yeah, tonight's the premiere here in Venezuela)

Again, you need to chill with your comment. You're always acting like you know better than everyone else. Critics literally think the same as Saintlor (& me), which makes the point VALID. It's not because you disagree that we're wrong.
Just FYI, GoT's plot has always been who'd get the Iron Throne. If it took you 3 seasons to realize that, that's your problem.

 Gurl, what?
My mom would probably kill me if I showed her something like that scene. And just the thought of me showing my mom something that graphic

twitter was pleasurable last night! It seems people were grossed out, scared, and in need of church. To me, that's a success for this show!
