At that point she's one of the biggest icon. 4 reestablishes Bey's artistry imo and made her seems more grounded compared to Sasha Fierce. And with just 5 albums she's already deemed a legend by most of the Hive and part of the GP.
But it only been 5 solo albums with 2 signifcant impacts on the GP (with SF and Self-Titled). I feel like these next 5 albums or whatever amount she decides to do will be the tests of Beyoncé's legacy. Drawing comparisons to Michael Jackson, he took 5-6 albums to reach extreme heights and he continues that for 3 albums. Bey is in the perfect position to do or outdo just that. But with even more UMP because of her previous SF era.
BUT she would need to snap-backs with her gameplans. The single choices are just not cutting it and the lack of effort in promo. I can understand the latter perfectly, especially if she prefer to give her albums more focus (and that seems to be working).
I have no idea why I'm writing an essay here. I'm just excited and expecting a MJ-level slayage but I shouldn't be hyped like that. I just want to enjoy the music. Or maybe I want to see the world enjoy what I see in Bey. I don't know

I try not to criticise Bey and her decisions but I do not get this lack of promo thing. What is she thinking? To me, she could have achieved 10x more with her last album that would have really cemented its place in history. Instead, she chose to abandon its singles which could have propelled the album around the world.
Does anyone else get it? Are we ever going to see Beyoncé dompromo again if it isn't for a film or a vegan diet? I think that's very worrying. Even the biggest musical artists of all time did promo even 10-20 albums in. There will come a point when all radio will abandon her, Apple will not give/refuse her any promo due to Tidal, all media will turn against her, and then what will she do? Does she even care?
I thought the surprise release was an incredible strategy. Her strategy following the release has been far from incredible. Sure, it's been revolutionary in that literally no artist at the stage of their career that Bey is in has totally abandoned all promo and media. If I try to get into her head to understand it, I'm thinking that she's thinking 'I don't need it anymore, I'm already a legend'. Well yes Beyoncé, you are a legend. However, you don't want your career to start falling off when you're not even 40 yet.
I hope her for her next album, she rinses every last bit of potential out of it. I want I AM levels of promo. I want world domination.
I'm not even that bothered about her commercial success; nevertheless, I just want to prove to all the naysayers that the reason BEYONCÉ didn't go to #1 in a lot of countries (official charts) is because she didn't care. If Bey did really care with her promo etc. There's no doubt that she would still be the best selling pop girl out there (well, bar Adele but that's reasonable).
