DIL is amazing but she needs to work on how she does it live - especially in MIA etc, its like the centrepiece of ST but felt like something she just kinda got out of the way, it could really be a huge moment in the show... idk
I think the reason Bey is neglecting Sweet Dreams and Deja Vu is because they do not seem to flow with her current show. You can tell that ever since ST got released, her show is less funky and more urban, hence she got rid of her funky bops such as SD, Deja Vu, Green Light, etc..
I can only see them return if a) she does an entirely new setlist or b) re-interprets them anew. Id love to see her chose approach b) of course.
Bey + Stromae would be killa btw. They are made for each other tbh. I think he could potentially produce a great song for Bey that would serve a more tribal sound.
Imho, Bey needs to get rid of the following songs as of now: XO, Partition, DC songs (dont want to see them at her new concert), RTA (even tho its great in its own way, its sort of overused by now).
What needs to be redone: Haunted (the live performance of it could still be so so much better than it is now), Love On Top (I feel like it could be revamped a bit more in a WDYLM kind of way), DrIL (the acoustic approach to it was nice, she should stick to it or as recommended make it entirely new), ***Flawless (also, its always the same. I think if she should stick to performing the remix version in a new way, people would get their lives again of it + a sing-repeat kind of think with "You wake up" audience: "flawless", but with no background noise, just her and the audience acapella) + Yonce could also see a new performance way.
What needs to return: WDYLM, SD, Schoolin Life, Deja Vu, Me,Myself and I, Pretty Hurts (80s remix)
What needs to be performed: Mine + Rocket (maybe a Rocket | 1+1 mashup would do) + Runnin + maybe another DIL-album track in a new version. I would also love to see her perform I'd Rather Go Blind live. She would slay so hard.
What I also want to see: Id love to see her 1-2 covers at her show. Her covers are always TOP, whether it is something in the vain of "Oughta Know", "Sex on Fire", "Beautiful Ones" or I Will Always Love You, Sweet Dreams (Eurythmics Version) or At Last.
Ring Off is a great song. The Love on Top shoutout, the lowkey reggae vibe, the accuracy of the lyrics to Beyonce's life, her mother's speech at the end! It's a solid 8/10.
!!!
The hive always disrespect it though

It needs to be all b-sides, unreleased, unperformed/rarely performed songs, or songs done acoustically, or refixed with new production, or demo versions of songs - it would be incredible
Theres so many things that would automatically make the cut that we've been dying to hear; No Angel, Ktty Kat, Save The Hero, Be With You, Save The Hero, Start Over, Rocket... it would so so good
