my teacher (who is from Philadelphia) liked it. But I had a panic attack when she wanted us to read out our essays during class... but I closed my eyes and went for the glory. Guys really don't respond well to Mariah here in GER. But whatevs. At least I had all the attention...others wrote an essay about some literature dross.. and nobody was remotely interested... lol

Is that not an experience at least all of us european lambs have experienced?
Even during TEOM I had trouble plugging Mariah with my friends because they considered her done
But these kind of stories show two things:
Mariah has such an impact on us that she, her music and her career follow us even into school and university.
We have the dedication, passion (and shamelessness ) to go for it!

that is true. I love reading German celebrity news blogs... and whatever she does.. it gets a negative spin here. Normally I go ballistic on ppl who shade her bc most of the times they use wrong facts too.
I stopped responding when German newspaper BILD demanded from her to lose some weight and called her fat when she was pregnant..
or when Promiflsh.de listed Monroe as one of the ugliest kids of celebrities due to her glasses.. i mean that is a level not even I would stoop to.
Mariah is still everywhere in my life. It has been this way since 1994. I couldn't imagine to stan for any other diva, except for Whitney of course.
There are tons of new(er) acts that I worship too.. but Mariah is my go-to artist... when I am stressed out i don't listen to anyone but her. She calms me down and her music speaks to me too.. it tells me that everything's going to be OK.
I don't know why but I Am Free gives me so much hope for my future
this song is just amazing
I want a live version, so many song not sung live it really makes sad.

I took a creative writing course in college and of course I wrote a poem about Mariah. I made it about how she basically came out of nowhere with straight slayage and changed the world!
Also I deserve to be a contender for MILG but I've been nominated before so the other J-Lessors can slay that category this year! But I was SNUBBED last year. And I will NOT stand for it this year because I deserve more! I'm a legend in this base! My iconic meltdowns, my messy threads, my SCALPING of the Katy Kats...I deserve something dammit!
