I noticed they used a double for Ariana for that Deep Fryer scene, but she re-filmed zoomed in shots with Chanel N3 and the rest of the girls. Maybe because of the schedule conflict, Ms. Bean filmed the scenes already even without Ari. I noticed it too because Ariana had to excuse her way out to get a "colonic" () only for the Chanel's to talk to Ms. Bean downstairs.
They did. They filmed the first two episodes in March through April, and Ari didn't film until the last week of filming.

They should have cast Ariana in season 2, when her schedule was maybe cleared up a little bit.
The character of Chad is the only smartly-written character on the show and the only funny satirical
character on the show. He has all of the best lines. And the actor playing him has great delivery.
The actor steals every scene and is the breakout star in "Scream Queens."
When/if the Chad character dies, I'm officially finished watching this critically-panned series.
