I don't think she needs to hype these countries for her album by the way, because her albums have always been doing well there. It's just the urban singles that don't get catched by radio which isn't weird to me.

If this song suddenly starts to slay, I guarantee you that most of the doubters will suddenly be a fan of the song. I've never stanned for Beyoncé due to her sales or how well her single does. I stan for her talent, that's all. Of course, it's nice when she slays the charts, but to me it's not the be all and end all.

Beyoncé doesn't need to follow the rule book and have another hit ever again, her tours will still sell out and she will always do well with her albums regardless.

Runnin' is mediocre and forgettable. It will be a cute hit in the UK and insignificant event elsewhere. It's no La La La.

She needs a song that will set the world on fire. Something good, universal and memorable. Runnin' isn't that.

Her songs just do not fit the playlists here, 538 and the other stations would not be able to fit run the world, countdown,711 etc in the playlist cause they just would stick out so much.

They wanted to put end of time on power rotation but ofcourse she did not release it

I'm not a huge fan of the song either (though her vocals slay me) but honestly this is what the European GP thinks is 'good music', other than Drunk In Love, which many people here would describe as a 'omg Beyoncé's music went so downhill since Halo'- kind of song - just because it's not a mainstream ballad or safe pop song.

I doubt Columbia has any substantial knowledge of anything that's going on with her album. They got shut out of pre-release involvement after the 4 leaks and I doubt she's let them back in on the process so sitting and complaining about someone that likely doesn't know any more than we do has said is so unnecessary. Literally the month before ST dropped Rick Rubin was giving interviews talking about how their fiscal year projections took a hit from Bey not releasing and then a few weeks later her album fell out of the sky -- they probably don't know ****. And we REALLY don't know **** about the album and what her plans are, so I don't understand the point of complaining and having meltdowns over completely unsubstantiated rumors.

I'm happy she appears to be ramping up and prepping for a drop tho with all of the performances popping up (even though that could mean nothing) and the magazine covers and shoots. I hope the next era does start before the year is out.

The problem is that Runnin' doesn't have anything going for it. If you're gonna associate yourself with some generic DJ song, then at least make sure it's a surefire hit. Many worse songs at least have a catchy chorus, memorable line or two or infectious melody. Runnin' is straight up boring.
