It's as if Billboard and others want Gaga to be commercial, want her to cater to the general public, because when she is dominating the world, it's quite honestly a beautiful thing. Yet Gaga keeps fighting against that, and I am proud of her for that, because she has always been true to herself, but that means sometimes she is going to hit and other times she is going to miss. And I'm glad that through that people like Billboard will support her, because in truth she is a genius.

Nabbed a lead spot on one of the most popular cable television shows.
Worked with Diane Warren on a charity song.

Dueting with legends.
Covering legends.
Etc etc.

Tell me what her peers have been doing sans Taylor that are worthy of being woman of the year please?

I love how thats worded as if thats something to criticize. Tony breathed some life into not only her credibility but herself as a person and an artist. He awakened her spirit to keep making music be it adult contemporary or otherwise. How is that even something to diss? Some of you reach too hard to be a bitch. Just accept reality and move on if you dont like it.

Also, its an award for a female. Of which Tony is not. Kind of a weak attempt at a diss all around.

2015 truly is, her year. I haven't seen any major pop girl dominate a year like this when it comes to acclaim alone. Grammys, Oscars, Songwriters HOF, BB, Rolling Stone etc.
