What did Taylor do to piss off Billboard?


Guess this confirms 2015 as a tragic year for female pop music. No shade meant to Gaga, but the female musician of the year released 1 song and had 1 (?) big performance. That's horrible, and the fact I can't even think of someone who clearly deserves it more than Gaga (other than Taylor) is just

Unless Cheek to Cheek counted? Then that's slightly better, but still that album wasn't exactly unmissable.

I think you're confusing this award with Billboard's Year-End Artist list that is based on chart receipts. This is more of an honorary title for general impact and influence. Taylor will no doubt be the #1 Year-End female artist.

Did you also think that Taylor deserved it more than Katy in 2012 ? Because Taylor released RED which sold more than any Katy album and in 2012 Katy released a RE RELEASE Taylor was far bigger in 2012 and Katy got the award. But something tells me you didn't care back then

Taylor already got it twice. Woman of the Year is not the same thing as Billboard's Female Artist of the Year. I say this every year it seems.

Gaga asked to perform at arguably the most prestigious awards show in the entertainment industry? What a flop. And they accepted her invitation and her performance was acclaimed and helped her get Billboard's WOTY? Even floppier.

And we've known for months Gaga asked Ryan could he make a role on the show for her, and he jumped at it and has since used Lady Gaga front and center to promote the entire season of AHS.

Gaga is pro-active about her career. You act like that's a bad thing.

What does that have to do with what I said ? Nothing And Billboard are smart, they know that 600k of a Jazz Album is impressive as ****. And Taylor didn't sell 5M this year She sold most of it last year
