I love that they show a cohesiveness in her work, from album to album, despite the songs having their own flavour.
I love that Beyoncé as an artist does not feel the need to reinvent herself with every era. That to me, is a marketing ploy. No true artist changes it up that often. No visual artist does impressionism for two years and suddenly realism, then goes completely dada, and if they do, most likely they are merely appropriating that style instead of excelling in it.
Be With You, So Good, Soldier, Mine, and Suga Mama were all considered for her festival setlist. Makes me think that we'll be seeing some unexpected songs on her next tour.
I mean I'm sure she done enough songs to release 3 albums at this point. But since hearing her process for 4, I just don't look too much into her recording sessions anymore.
