The fact that she went and worked with Max Martin, Sia, Diane Warren....I have a bad feeling about this album. It's clear they were desperate for 'hits' at one point, hence all the mega songwriters and producers.

Diane Warren =Hits?

Max Martin yes...but you have Tobias Jessor Jr., Ryan Tedder, and Danger Mouse (which is my most anticipated work)

She worked with Fraser T Smith on 21, who's about as pop as you can get.

And of course she wants hits for this album and will go to those who know how to make them.

And most of the other people she worked with like Phil Collins, Damon Albarn, etc don't exactly put out hits anymore.

Phil Collins work never materialized because Adele never called him back. Damon Albarn was unsure if his work made it some unfavorable critic on the album.

I know, but she didn't just turn to hit producers.

She actually did end up working with Phil Collins again afterwards. At least that's what a report said. I doubt he made the album though.
