Yes, you're right. I think it's intentional so that Chanel #1 appears superior in every way. Even Melanie Dorkess's entourage were less attractive than her.

The least obvious from the ones that are obvious. Gigi, Chad, etc are so irrelevant, I didn't even think of them.
The fact that all the cast keeps saying their opinions on who the killer are change with each script should be enough for any plausible theories for ANYONE at this point to be pointless.
But I fail to see why you're ruling Gigi, Chad & so on out. They have just as much potential to be the killer as Chanel. Chanel is an obvious one already because she's the main character, and her being the killer would be horribly underwhelming.

Of course Gigi, Chad & so on could be the killer. But I think that's as likely as Chanel #4 or Melanie being the killer. I highly doubt that Ryan would so that, so it's probably really between Chanel, Wes, Boone and so on.
Also yesterday was the first time I've read the first serious accusion that Chanel is the killer,
whereas the Coffee shop guy or Kathy had been accused even before the show aired.
Gigi, Chad, etc are so irrelevant, I didn't even think of them.
