I don't get it. Pop is HUGE in Asia and the US Asian population out numbers many minorities. So why don't we have a major Asian pop star in the US?

Edit: I think the reason there haven't been any major K-Pop acts to cross over is because their productions are often really busy and over stimulating and if there is one thing that turns off the public, it's that.

There have been Asian artists. Far East Movement had like two hits 5 years ago.

Besides many Asian artists don't come with the right sound, at the right time. I don't think anyone cares that much about race they just need the right material.

US Asians outnumber which minority? I thought they were the smallest.
There should be huge Asian pop stars in the US. K-pop and J-pop are just starting to get popular here. I mean asian pop stars have a massive fan base so idk why they don't cross over like European artists. (well I know why..)
